Mechanical Engineer (26339)

This established company is recruiting Mechanical Engineers to join their growing team. They have a number of projects through repeat business as well as new clients to service, and are keen to find new stars to join them. The company are very supportive of their employees and provide a number of provisions to make sure everyone can work to the best of their abilities. This includes 4 day working weeks (although full time opportunities are also available).

The company works with clients on innovative and usually engineering-heavy MedTech products. Their expertise is trusted to deliver projects that can be from concept all the way through prototyping, testing and manufacture. Projects can overlap engineering principles with scientific applications, and so a broad understanding of a wide range of technologies is needed.

Requirements

• Project experience working on medical device projects (although experience within other regulated industries would be considered if working on a project of similar complexity). Project experience within robotics, surgical tools, diagnostic instrumentation, CFD, optics applications or similar would be desirable.
• Strong 2D/3D CAD experience including modelling and prototyping complex devices and instruments.
• Good communications skills are expected which should cover experience delivering technical presentations to clients as well as building strong commercial relationships. Experience within a consultancy would be beneficial.

Interested candidates are expected to be degree qualified (1st / 2.1 in mechanical engineering or similar), and can demonstrate a strong level of technical excellence through their project work at interview.
