Quant Analyst in Consultancy (26389)

This Cambridge based company are looking to recruit a Quant Analyst to join their consultancy. The role is open to post-graduates (including PhDs) or experienced applicants looking for an entry level position. As part of the team, you'll work closely with partners and senior consultants on projects and be part of presentations. This means that you will be get experience in front of clients as well as help build their complex numerical models.

Requirements:

• You'll of course have a top numerate background, demonstrated with A* grades in maths and physics at A-level; followed by a 1st degree in Maths, Theoretical Physics or similar from a top ranked university. You'll then have gained an advanced degree (Master's / PhD).
• You'll have demonstrable experience with statistics including statistical inference, probability or similar. You must be comfortable working with different forms of data.
• You'll also have some exposure to maths modelling, and importantly be able to talk about highly complex systems in a simple and articulated way.

The role requires international travel so applicants must be comfortable working away from home (up to 20% of your time). Otherwise, work would be their Cambridge office with occasional hybrid working from home possible.
