Data Analyst (26437)

This Data Science team based in Cambridge are growing and are looking for Data Analysts to join them. They work alongside their software engineering and operations teams to provide key insights. Their overall products are used by millions of people, utilising technology to empower people and give them control.

The teams are by nature curious and inquisitive and tend to tackle problems head-on. They recruit intelligent and talented people who like to innovate and can problem-solve. Work is fast-paced, but they do look to mentor people and support careers.

Requirements:

• 1st / 2.1 degree in maths or physics from a highly reputable, internationally-acclaimed university (other disciplines with a strong numerate core would be considered). Advanced degrees are a bonus but not required.
• A range of technical skills including experience with databases (ideally SQL and BigQuery) and data visualisation (eg: Tableau, Power BI or Google Data Studio). Further exposure to Python, JavaScript, Linux shell scripting and version control (Git) would be beneficial.
• Demonstrable experience with data analytics ideally for applied business or finance.

It is expected that interested applicants will have strong communication skills (written and spoken), and should be able to work well within a team whilst having the ability to work independently when required.
