Control Engineer (26439)
Our client is looking for an outstanding Control Engineer to join its world-class team of technologists, working on algorithm development for precision control systems. Their designs involve superb positioning accuracy for tiny actuators, used in a variety of wearable and hand-held devices.
The client is looking for a talented individual with a creative spark. To impress them you will need to have exemplary technical qualifications and relevant industrial experience and achievements. As part of their highly skilled and multidisciplinary team, you will have the freedom to work on various interesting problems from beginning to end. There will be many opportunities to work with other engineers, both within the company and also with the end clients.
Requirements:-
- A good degree in engineering or physics from a top university
- Practical experience with control systems, preferably in a commercial setting
- Experimental design and analysis
- Experience writing real-time C code for microcontrollers with additional software skills in Python, C# or MATLAB
- Understanding of electronics
Candidates with similar skills within PhD research are also of interest.
In addition to your technical excellence, you will also demonstrate good communication skills, show initiative, make decisions and operate in a multi-disciplinary team.
