Analytical Engineering Consultant (26445)
Have you expertise in mechanical engineering concepts and appreciate the complexities of thorough quality testing for drug delivery devices? Are you ready to take on that next step in your career where you will plan out the entire test programme and use statistical analysis to deliver robust products?
We’re looking for an Analytical Engineering Consultant to join this specialised team. They work closely with their clients, supporting overall delivery goals through the development of device test frameworks and novel verification processes. The work is technically challenging, people-facing as well as highly rewarding (to know your work enables medical and healthcare devices to reach markets and perform to the highest quality standards).
Requirements:
- Having graduated with a mechanical engineering or relevant science degree, you’ll have subsequent industry experience within medical device testing including planning programmes and implementing test methodologies.
- You’ll have a strong understanding of statistical methods ideally including Minitab.
- You’ll be highly familiar with relevant ISO standards and medical device quality frameworks. You may also have used quality management systems.
- Verification and validation best practices (such as Gauge R&R, IQ/OQ/PQ, FAT, SAT) will be areas you have had exposure to.
- You’ll have worked in a consultancy or have been in a client-facing role where you have gained experience communicating to a range of audiences (technical and non-technical).
On offer is an excellent remuneration package. It is expected that you would predominately be based onsite due to the nature of your work and the requirement to work closely with the medical devices.
