Senior Java Back-End Developer (26453)

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Java Back-End Developer to take part in greenfield projects where they will be contributing to the design and architecture of state-of-the-art products handling safety critical data.

The growing team are working on projects that encompass handling and processing large quantities of data for planning and logistics purposes. The product is SaaS and so you must be comfortable with continuous integrations and deployment practices, using cloud services. If you also have previous experience working with safety critical data, that would be a bonus.

Working in an Agile team of skilled developers, testers and product managers, you would be augmenting your already impressive skills in Java, with Spring Boot, Docker and GraphQL.

Necessary skills and attributes:

• A good technical degree from a well-respected university
• Back-end skills with Java, Spring Boot and Spring-based applications experience developing RESTful APIs to integrate with SOA systems
• Good understanding of the Front-end utilising React
• Good knowledge of CI and CD practices and deploying to the cloud (AWS or Azure)
• Comfortable manipulating data on a grand scale and utilising complex data sets

As our client often works on security related projects, any candidates must already have full right to work in the UK without time limit or sponsorship and they will also have to be able to pass a basic level security clearance check.
