Electromagnetics Modelling Specialist (26515)

Are you about to graduate from your Bachelor's / Master's or soon to submit your doctorate thesis? Do you have post-doc experience or are currently working in industry? In this role, you will work closely with engineers and physicists, providing technical expertise and understanding of low frequency electromagnetics used for example in motors and capacitors. You'll be familiar with applications in resistive and inductive systems and worked on models / simulations for magnets or electromagnets. You'll enjoy working with others, including workshops, presentations and reports.

Requirements:

• a strong academic background including a degree in applied maths or physics. Master's / PhD would be desirable.
• demonstrable project experience with electromagnetism - both theory / understanding as well as applied to models and simulations.
• excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• past experience teaching / demonstrating or more broadly in a people-facing position would be desirable.

This role is based in their Cambridge office although once familiar with processes and responsibilities, some hybrid home working is possible. On offer is an excellent remuneration package as well as working for a company that will support your professional growth and development.
