Electronics Design Engineer (26525)
In this varied electronics design role, you will develop hardware for a range of products for use in motorsport and automotive applications. This company is an established technology innovator across the automotive, aerospace and maritime industries, developing solutions to improve performance and the move to electrification. You would be joining an enthusiastic and talented engineering team and be involved in all stages of the product lifecycle from initial concepts and circuit design through to verification and validation, production handover, and providing support for customers.
As well as a 1st or 2.1 degree in Electronic Engineering or a closely related subject and full existing right to work in the UK, you will need broad engineering skills in analogue and digital electronics, design for test, design for manufacture, and FMEA.
Knowledge in a substantial subset of the following will put your application in good stead:
- Microprocessors / microcontrollers
- High speed digital design
- Sensor signal processing, amplifiers, filters
- Power electronics, PSUs, motor and actuator control
- Communications buses/protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, and CAN
- FPGA / VHDL
- OrCAD, LTspice, or Altium
