Senior Cloud Engineer (26541)

A Senior Cloud Engineer is sought by this growing company. They are setting up an office in London which will be the engineering centre for their operation. The company works with overseas markets to provide a range of services including greener energy options for consumers as well as a scalable ecommerce platform that can be used by independent stores.

The heart of these technologies is the intrinsic infrastructure that has been built, and this company is now looking to expand and grow their services. As part of their software cloud team, you would take a lead on projects and contribute to overall architecture of new features.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable commercial experience in software engineering including back-end cloud services. Further exposure to IoT technologies would be desirable.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on technology experience with: AWS, Python, PostGres, Redis, Flask, Vue.js, Docker, Jenkins and Git. Additional exposure to: Java, Kotlin, C++, Celery would be desirable.

The role of offer can be done remotely although it is expected infrequent visits to meet others in the team would be expected. Similarly, occasional overseas trips would be on offer so you can see your work being used in person.

Compensation includes a competitive salary, with additional company investment into courses for you to keep your skills up to date. Your choice for equipment is also available.
