Senior Data Analyst - Software (26542)
This international company is moving its industry-leading software into the cloud, opening up opportunities to further their use of analytics to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. They are seeking a Business Information Analyst with expertise in turning raw data into useful insights within the software industry to help them define key metrics and methodologies.
As a Senior Business Information Analyst, you would work collaboratively with the Marketing, Product Support, and Engineering teams, understanding the metrics they need to drive their decisions. You would design data gathering strategies to shed light on the way customers interact with the product, how this changes with time, and how product direction can be optimised and adapted to help maintain its leading position in the market.
You will need:
- A 1st or 2.1 degree from a well-respected university in a relevant subject that includes statistics, economics, econometrics, or data analytics / data science.
- Practical hands-on skills with data analytics and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Domo, or PowerBI
- Advanced knowledge of building database queries with SQL
- Experience of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large data sets within the software industry - for instance collating software usage analytics
