Front End Developer (26558)
This Cambridge company develops IoT-enabled sensing and control components that can be built into smart resilient networks controlled and managed via the cloud. Typical applications might be anything from smart homes and cities through to improving the efficiency of power distribution networks.
They are currently seeking a Front-End Developer with good user interface design, and excellent Front-End coding skills to join their development team in north Cambridge. You would be work with a high degree of creative control over your work, adding new features and capabilities such as control interfaces, data analytics and visualisation tools, improve the software design, and work with clients to help them utilise the technology.
Essential skills and attributes:
- A degree in Computer Science or another relevant STEM subject from a good university
- A good understanding of software development best practice
- Development skills in HTML, and CSS including pre-processor scripting with SASS or similar and REST API
- JavaScript programming skills including frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React. Knowledge of Node.js is desirable
As an early-stage company, they are unable to offer sponsorship, so you will also need full existing right-to-work in the UK without sponsorship, time limit, or restriction.
