Graduate / PhD / Experienced Scientist (26654)
Based in lab, office and manufacturing space, this scientific product development company are recruiting hands-on scientists to join their R&D group. Their core technology is based on proprietary IP used for drug screening. As their next scientist, you would work closely with senior team members in the design, development and optimisation of immunodiagnostic assays, as well as collaborate with others within the company and externally. Projects would involve documentation, demonstrations, and proof-of-principle experiments.
Requirements:
- 1st / 2.1 in biochemistry or similar. Further relevant advanced degrees would be beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with immunoassays ideally in a clinical setting or within diagnostic applications (this could be through extensive final year university projects, PhD or internship).
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Able to travel – part of the role will include attending offsite meetings and conferences. Having a valid driving licence and your own vehicle would be advantageous.
