Graduate Technology Consultant (26677)
This consultancy role would be a great place to start a technology career, or for an experienced technologist to broaden their skillset by working on a wide variety of projects in areas such as high performance clothing, food science, instrumentation, industrial, transport, and consumer products. Many of these projects help improve sustainability or quality of life.
The work is highly multidisciplinary and touches on a very broad array of specialisms. To thrive in this environment, you will need to be extremely bright, with an academic record that demonstrates your ability to rapidly get up to speed with unfamiliar subject matter. You will need to think outside the box and improvise novel ways of tackling problems, to collaborate effectively, and communicate complex subject matter to clients and colleagues.
You will need:
- A 1st or 2.1 from a leading university together with mostly A*s and As at A-level (or equivalent pre-university qualifications). Subject areas include mechanical engineering, physics, behavioural psychology, polymer chemistry, biochemistry, materials science, medicine (human and otherwise), and manufacturing (we said it was varied!)
- Strong and confident communications skills coupled with insight and creativity.
- An interest in developing your consultancy skills – training can be provided but you will need the aptitude.
This is a great chance to join a company that places a high value on ethics, sustainability, and work life balance. On offer are a competitive salary and benefits package. They are based in pleasant modern offices with good access via rail, cycling, or car, and they have supportive and sociable company culture.
