MEMS R&D Technologist (26682)

This company are developing miniature MEMS sensors which will revolutionise many applications within the healthcare, consumer electronics, industrial and IoT. They are working with household names in the consumer electronics industry, helping to bring new devices to market, and are now seeking an experienced technologist with expertise in multidisciplinary MEMS development to join them.

You would be a key member of the team, bringing experience in MEMS design, manufacture, and validation. As someone who thinks at the systems level, you’ll be well-placed to contribute ideas, novel sensor concepts, and generate patentable IP. On the technical front, you could be carrying out analysis and modelling, helping define processes, devising experiments and test regimes, and reviewing results and experimental data. As a senior member of the team, you would also contribute to project planning.

You will need:

• A 1st or 2.1 degree in a relevant Engineering or Science subject, and preferably a master’s degree or PhD
• Experience of developing MEMS-based devices. This should include aspects such as simulations, layout, wafer process development and fabrication, device characterisation, testing, and qualification
• Full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship
