Automation Engineer for Robotic Platforms (26712)

Are you a hands-on engineer that has experience building automation tools used in robotic applications? Out client delivers bespoke, multidisciplinary technology used in biotech and pharma manufacture. Their technology is an automated technology platform using robotics. This role would include architecting, designing, testing and optimising these systems and technologies.

Requirements

• Demonstrable industry experience developing manufacturing systems / instruments / platforms using automation through use of robotic technologies. Exposure to delivering a manufacturing platform within a GMP bioprocessing environment would be highly desirable.
• Strong engineering understanding and expertise to problem solve multidisciplinary projects.
• Broad engineering experience covering mechatronics, software, physics, controls and robotics.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with partners.

It is expected that interested candidates will have an electronics, software or engineering degree (and possibly a Masters or PhD). Their subsequent experience will be able to evidence highly relevant projects in automation and robotics.
