Embedded Software Engineer (26748)
Do you have a wealth of knowledge in the technology communications sector? Are you still a hands-on software engineer? Would you like to work on next generation technology projects?
This well-supported group of engineers are working alongside partners to leverage their expertise to develop new communication technologies that can be the must-have components in the next generation (and beyond) devices. Their forward-thinking approach to problem solving allows them to create solutions for new system architectures and prototype designs. Some innovations will be incremental for optimisation, but others will be game-changers. In this role, you’ll collaboratively work with others in the team as well as external stakeholders to bring solutions to fruition.
Requirements
- You’ll have a degree in electronics, computer science or similar and subsequently gained extensive experience as an embedded software engineer.
- You are still a hands-on programmer, and have high proficiency with embedded C. You most likely also have experience with a wide range of languages including C++, Python and possibly C# or Rust.
- You’ll be familiar with hardware and know your way around oscilloscopes and micro-controller debuggers. You may even have experience with RTOS and down to bare-metal programming for microcontrollers.
- Ideal past experience will include: writing bootloaders and working with SPI, I2C, or UART/RS232
