ML Data Platform Engineer (26777)

For this challenging role you will demonstrate experience beyond academia in both software engineering and machine learning, whether through commercial software development, research/industry partnership or extensive personal interest projects.

You will be degree-qualified with full existing UK work permission without sponsorship, and your background will include:

• Extensive software engineering skills, including fluency in Python and potentially C#, JavaScript, TypeScript and/or React, one of which may be a specialty.
• Prior work with machine learning / artificial intelligence algorithms, ideally in PySpark and/or TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy.
• Fluency in different software development paradigms which may include functional, procedural and object-oriented, through experience.

It is advantageous to also have exposure to any of: RESTful or GraphQL web APIs, large scale data processing and statistics / analytics, relational database systems (CRUD), the AWS cloud, Docker containers and/or Elasticsearch.
