Whether you have a technical background or have previously worked as part of a software team, this role is for an energetic individual with writing skills to create and share stories which highlight genuine successes of a modern and impressive suite of software products.

You may have worked in engineering (software or electronics) and enjoy writing. Equally you may have a technical marketing background and a track record in the software space. Or you may be a professional writer with proven interest in and knowledge of such technology.

Your CV will show (rather than tell) that you have many of the following characteristics:

• You are an avid listener, looking to understand and explore scenarios in order to find the material you’ll need.
• You are an articulate communicator who can clearly and satisfyingly capture and explain complex scenarios.
• You are appreciative of the needs of the customer or consumer of the products you’ll be writing about.
• You are a people person able to work effectively across disciplines with engineers, managers, businesspeople and end users.
• You are resourceful, driven and self-aware, and keen to learn the ins and outs of a new technology space.

The successful candidate will join a friendly, relaxed and motivated technical team in the heart of Cambridge. Flexible hours are the norm along with generous compensation. Good transport links exist by road, rail and cycle.
