Senior Front End Software Engineer (26833)

Focussing on development of single page application in React, this role additionally offers the opportunity to get involved across the tech stack, perhaps working with C#, Python, or on Azure cloud architecture. For candidates looking to take on additional responsibilities, there is also future scope to take on Scrum Master duties.

The company are a growing start-up founded by two engineers keen to improve the environmental credentials of one of the world’s less eco friendly industries. They are building a software ecosystem which will enable easy logging and tracing of sustainable materials and thereby help drive the transition to more sustainable solutions. To help bring this to fruition, they are keen to recruit a Front End Developer adept with React and UX design skills. In line with the company’s green principles, this role offers ample scope for remote work, with attendance at the office for meetings.

You will need:

• A 1st or 2.1 degree in computer science or similarly relevant subject from a well-respected university
• Hands-on experience of building single page applications with React, preferably including React Native
• A good understanding of best practice for software engineering
• Good UI/UX design skills. Additional knowledge of cloud architecture, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) would enhance your application
• Full existing right to work in the UK without sponsorship
