Innovation Strategy Consultant (26856)
In this strategy consulting role, your business development and strategy skills will be instrumental in helping clients monetise their technology IP. This could be helping companies in a number of ways: ensuring they have the right requirements for a successful product, finding new markets, forging new collaborations, or assisting traditional business to transition to the digital economy..
To succeed, you will need a strong background in technology innovation and business development. The company are somewhat flexible on candidates’ exact technology field of expertise, but areas such as electronics, sensors, communications, wireless technologies, or IoT would be of interest. Most importantly, you should be able to draw upon experience that will allow you to offer authoritative insights to help solve your clients’ problems. You will of course also need excellent communication skills, able to write compelling proposals, clear documentation, or to lead discussions.
Specific skills and attributes:
- A 1st or 2.1 in a relevant STEM subject from a leading university backed by strong A-levels or overseas equivalent
- You will need an innovation background with a good mix of skills such as relationship management, customer development, market analysis, project management, requirements capture, building and leading development teams, and leading the creation of novel technologies and products
- Prior consultancy experience will be highly valued
