Senior / Software Engineer, Browser Security (26909)
Working with security experts, this role involves the development of secure browsing technology through a combination of browser-side measures and security integration with the host operating system, transparently protecting users from malicious activity online.
You’ll have:
- A background in C++ software development, ideally including work on low level code with some awareness of security concerns.
- An understanding of browser technology and add-in architectures – whether you’ve reviewed or contributed to the Chromium, WebKit or Gecko codebases, authored add-ins yourself, or just find the area interesting.
- TypeScript, or modern JavaScript, software skills.
- An appreciation of Agile development approaches, collaborative design review, standards and improvement.
You’ll join a multicultural organisation with global offices and a strong Cambridge presence. This is a full time role in Cambridge, UK requiring existing work permission without sponsorship. Hybrid (home) working up to 2-3 days per week is possible. On other weekdays each week you will work from their Cambridge offices which are within reach of good transport links.
