Software Consultant (26916)

Do you design and implement low-level embedded algorithms in the automotive industry? Are you comfortable talking technically about your work? Thinking of a change in direction? This might be the role for you.

This multi-talented team of specialists work with engineering companies across the UK and northern Europe providing technical guidance and support. They are expanding and looking to add expertise in automotive software development to their team.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in an engineering degree from a prestigious university.
• Good understanding of software systems architecture with specific expertise in C/C++ embedded programming.
• Knowledgeable in the use of simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) for the design, verification, and testing of algorithms in an automotive environment. Ideally, this should include control and signal processing techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role will require regular travel around the UK along with less regular visits to Europe and the US. Outside of client visits, the office runs on a hybrid work pattern, with only two days per week required on-site.
