VP - Technical Business Development (26938)
Have you led business development projects? Do you have a network of established contacts within the semiconductor and / or mobile phone sector? Are you looking to join and contribute strategically within a management team?
This is a new opportunity to join this tech start-up as their VP – Technical Business Development. You’ll spend your time to research markets and identify new openings. You’ll build networks through participation in seminars, conferences and exhibitions. You’ll do product presentations and relevant demonstrations. You’ll collaborate with the management team to develop business plans and commercial strategies.
Requirements:
- Your background will be within the electronics industry including relatively recent experience within business development in semiconductor market (ideally for mobile phone sector).
- Demonstrable experience in identifying business opportunities and potential clients including analysing market trends and competitor behaviour.
- Excellent communication skills including negotiations and closing business deals.
- Experience in sales for semiconductor components.
Business development will be with clients across the world, so it is expected that you could be travelling extensively (could be up to 50% of the time). If not travelling, hybrid working is possible (at least 1-2 days in the Cambridge office each week).
