Business Development - Health Tech (26977)

This energetic and innovative company are growing their Business Development team and seek a skilled engineer who would thrive in a more client-facing position. The Cambridge based company work on a wide range of medical device and health-tech related projects, providing fast and cost- effective solutions for their clients.

You will have already made major contributions to product development in the heath-tech space or similarly regulated industries, and your engineering background will enable you to understand the wants and requirements of potential clients through in-depth technical discussions. Ideally, you will already have a good commercial acumen and an eye for potential development opportunities.

An element of travel will be involved, as you will be required to attend conferences and networking events, as well as visit clients’ sites in order to secure new business and make regular updates. However, you will also still get the chance to contribute to the projects themselves, adding your input to prototypes and evolving designs.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Evidence of your technical contributions to the commercial development of new products, preferably in the heath / med tech sector;
• An impressive academic history, including a good technical degree (2:1 or above) preferably in engineering or similar subject, and mostly A grades at A-Level;
• Full right to work in the UK without time limit or sponsorship, as sponsorship is unavailable;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
