Supply Chain Engineer (27012)
This new and growing manufacturing team is looking for someone to take charge of their relationship with third-party suppliers. This challenging role will require you to travel globally and ensure the parts being manufactured remain in-spec and of the highest quality. You will be working with other engineers to continually develop and improve the manufacturing process for the innovative and complex products this company are known for.
Requirements:
- Commercial experience working in manufacturing, validation, or supplier quality engineering backed up with a good degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related subject.
- Strong understanding of the contract manufacturing industry including experience developing new relationships with manufacturers around the globe.
- Good knowledge of quality processes for supplier parts such as the production part approval process (PPAP) and statistical process control (SPC).
- A history of working with suppliers to resolve production problems, including the use of formal processes such as RCAs.
Additional knowledge in the areas of precision plastic moulding, laser and ultrasonic welding, or cleanroom environment manufacturing will be beneficial to your application.
