Bilingual Quant Analyst (27099)

Based in central Cambridge (close to rail and bus links), this consultancy work with clients across the world and provide bespoke, strategic expertise on technical analyses through market data and quantitative modelling. They are looking for highly numerate individuals to join them as analysts with a clear career path to be promoted to a consultant position.

The role mixes both in office work (statistical inference, maths modelling) with travel (meet clients, presentations, market research). Due to upcoming projects, fluency in other languages (German or Spanish) is needed.

Requirements:

• Top academic background (A* in Maths and Further Maths / Physics, followed by a 1st Class degree in Maths or Physics from a top ranked university, and relevant post-graduate degree (Master’s or PhD; equivalent qualifications will be considered)).
• Demonstrable numerate project experience with statistics, quantitative analysis and / or financial maths modelling.
• Internship or work experience with a management consultancy, corporate accountancy or similar would be desirable.
• Bilingual skills, either English and German, or English and Spanish (this should include understanding and speaking about technical mathematics / business in both languages). Any additional exposure to Portuguese or Arabic would be of interest.
• Full rights to work in the UK.

Interested candidates are expected to work in company offices in Cambridge and be able to travel when required (this could be up to 25% of your time). All business travel is company expensed. In return, the company support careers and offer an excellent compensation package.
