Senior Mechanical Engineer (27164)

This product and technology development company is seeking a commercially knowledgeable mechanical engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team working on leading-edge miniature electro-mechanical systems. You will be working from product conception through to detailed manufacturable designs, validating ideas and providing technical guidance to junior engineers. This is a multidisciplinary company, so you will be engaging closely with engineers from other fields including electronics and control. Together you will push at the boundaries of what’s feasible.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable commercial skills developing small scale electro-mechanical systems from concept to manufacture
• Top degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar from a highly rated university
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and the ability to apply them to a wide variety of designs and technical challenges
• Experienced with 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks
• Full existing rights to work in the UK, this company cannot sponsor

While not required, a background in technical consultancy would be valued as a demonstration of both your technical versatility and communication skills.
