IT Manager (27206)

Take ownership of IT systems for the UK arm of a successful multinational company. You’ll manage IT systems, networks and infrastructure, ensure security, supervise and assist in business activity, collaborate on process improvement, and liaise with international peers and third-party vendors.

Forthcoming technology initiatives will evolve ERP, cloud, CRM and infrastructure and you’ll play a major role in those. In additional you’ll have budgetary responsibility to ensure cost-effective IT investments.

The company is based 10 miles west of Cambridge, 30 minutes from the city, in an attractive green business park, easy to reach by road, with parking on site and access to local amenities. You will have:

• A strong knowledge of IT systems and networks in a business context.
• Understanding and IT management skills for common ERP and CRM systems, Office 365, cloud-based software and storage systems and infrastructure, and preferably experience in their evolution and technology transition.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical abilities, and documentation skills towards concise and effective documentation.
• Full existing UK work permission without sponsorship, and the ability to commute regularly to the company’s west Cambridge offices.
