C++ Software Engineer, Windows (27208)
Providing hybrid or office based working at their Cambridge offices, this software company develops a range of cyber security products used by businesses around the world. Their Windows division is a core team and they are looking to recruit a C++ Software Engineer to join them.
You’ll work on challenging problems within a small, collaborative group, that utilise your understanding of Windows internals, C++ programming and good software engineering practices. You’ll be tasked to come up with robust software solutions that will ideally have inbuilt future proofing, as well as provide technical support to maintain current product lines.
Requirements
- You’ll have graduated with a degree in computer science, engineering, physics or similar and have gained demonstrable industry experience working as a software engineer.
- You can evidence a good understanding of software development on Windows including OS internals.
- You’ll have a very strong understanding and demonstrable experience using C++ (possibly from version 11 onwards). You may also have exposure of C# .NET Core.
Whilst the application area is around cyber security and virtualisation, no former experience of these are needed.
The role will require you to come to work in their Cambridge office (although hybrid working is possible). The expectation is to be able to come to the office when needed, so applicants should be based in or near to Cambridge. On offer is an excellent remunerations package including a competitive salary.
