IC V & V Engineer (27218)
This established Cambridge-based company are developing miniaturised technology for applications in consumer electronics, and for future robotics and healthcare. This technology relies on specialised ICs and control software. As their team grows, they are seeking an IC V & V Engineer to join them.
You will be involved throughout the product development process from initial concepts through to manufacture. Your expertise will be put to good use, working on the verification and validation of new control ICs. This will involve creating and executing test scripts in Python. Verification will employ simulation and FPGA platforms pre-tapeout, silicon post-tapeout, and Automatic Test Pattern Generation for production testing. The role also involves some dev-ops work to maintain and improve tools and infrastructure.
You will need:
- Substantial experience in IC verification and validation, and unit and automated testing
- Excellent skills in System Verilog for IC/FPGA verification, Python and Python-based test frameworks
- Experience with using common electronics test equipment
- Au fait with working in a Linux development environment
- A solid understanding of IC development, electronics, low level comms, processor internals basics, and some knowledge of C or C++.
- UVM knowledge would be great, but not essential
