£DoE + Share Options

Integrated Passive Devices / IPD, 3D Modelling, EM Simulations, RF, Hybrid

This early stage VC funded tech company is recruiting, and seek an RF Engineer to join them to work on RF Front End Architectures used for connected wearables and mobile devices. The team work collaboratively, mostly from their offices in Cambridge (hybrid working is possible for this role, with the expectation that candidates live close to Cambridge to attend office meetings when needed).

As a skilled RF Engineer, your experience and technical know-how will be used to complement the existing team. You’ll take a project leading role in designing and modelling relevant components including inductors, transformers and couplers (optimised for Q, component value, size and other key attributes). The overarching goal is to optimise overall efficiency and performance whilst adhering to size constraints and product costs.

Requirements

  • PROFILE: Degree in Electrical Engineering followed by demonstrable experience in RF engineering including design of integrated passive devices (IPDs).
  • TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Proficiency in 3D modelling and EM simulations; understanding of RF principles used in passive component design.
  • COMMUNICATIONS: Strong verbal and written skills including formal documentation.

As an equal opportunity employer, all candidates who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply. On offer is a competitive salary package including company share option scheme. Flexible working and hybrid working is also on offer.
