Software Engineer (27260)

We are seeking a capable Software Engineer to join a Cambridge-based development team working on electronics design tools. You would contribute to the design and implementation of new and improved features that leverage AI approaches to assist human engineers, helping them to bring better, more capable products to market in less time. This software is used worldwide in a wide swath of industries that rely on advanced electronics (everything from consumer electronics to healthcare to automotive, to name a few), so your work would have a large impact.

Working as part of a small but expanding team of expert colleagues, you would design, implement, and validate of new AI-driven features. You’ll also provide advice for product engineers, helping them diagnose customer issues, some of which may lead to the development of new features.

You will need:

• A 1st or 2.1 in computer science or other numerate discipline from a leading university.
• Hands-on coding skills (preferably Python, C/C++, JavaScript, TCL or Shell Scripting), and experience developing and debugging software in a UNIX environment.
• A solid understanding of algorithm design, data structures
• Full existing and unrestricted right to work in the UK
