IC Design Team Lead (27265)

This company has been slowly growing their ambitions in the field of ASIC / IC design, building chips capable of providing enhanced control over their complex electro-mechanical products. Now they have a core group of engineers, they are looking for an experienced manager to come in and turbocharge their development.

You will be overseeing the entire design process from concept to completion. Responsibilities include team development and mentorship, project management, and collaboration with engineering teams from other disciplines. As this is currently a small team, suitable candidates will also be involved in some hands-on design work.

Requirements:

• Extensive commercial experience in custom digital IC design and team leadership roles
• Good knowledge of the chip design process from concept to tape-out and testing
• Specific IC design knowledge in areas including clock networks, power domains, industry-standard interfaces, on-chip bus protocols and DFT
• Full and permanent rights to work in the UK
