Developing an intuitive interface for an AI toolset with FastAPI, JavaScript & Python

Joining this Cambridge start-up at a very early stage, you would be a key contributor to creating AI tools which simplify the task of ensuring regulatory compliance for healthcare facilities and services. As the company’s full-stack development expert, you will take the lead in defining flexible, powerful APIs and creating intuitive user interfaces. Your work will help alleviate the administrative burden for people providing vital support services, and as an early joiner, you’ll have influence on how the team and the product evolves.

This challenging role calls for a confident and proactive engineer who is comfortable taking the initiative and taking the lead on key decisions.

Specific skills and attributes:

  • A 1st or 2.1 degree in computer science or other numerate STEM discipline.
  • Substantial commercial full stack development experience.
  • Excellent coding skills in Python, JavaScript (or TypeScript), RESTful API design, and FastAPI.
  • Knowledge of the following will enhance your application: JavaScript frameworks, ideally React, user-interface design, PostgreSQL schema design, and cloud expertise (ideally Azure).
  • You will also need full existing and unrestricted UK work permission.
